I am planning a holiday for my family (2 adults and 9 year old boy) to Tuscany and Cinque Terre. I can spend from 10 to 13 days and will have hired car. Would like some advice on how to plan the holiday, where to stay (I am considering an agriturismo or B&B) in order to be able to reach the most interesting cities and villages.

Buongiorno,
I would suggest that you settle in one place for a week, perhaps with a pool and garden area so that all three of you can enjoy the landscape (in your own way
) but still be able to day trips and take in the local culture...and some wine tasting. Then for the extra days head towards the coast and enjoy maybe a couple of days at the Tuscan beaches and two days in Cinque Terre.
